We run Hackathon Open Innovation events with your dedicated team / experts and selected innovators to come up with the right solutions and evolve together. A combination of field demos with subject-matter expert interviews sets the scene to collaborate intensively on a defined project.
The aim is to create and design a workable and compatible solution in a very short time. The participants are challenged to contribute via brainstorming, ideation exercises and co-creation design thinking.

Rockathon mining challenge
The Rockathon concept succeeded to improve Sandvik’s innovation capacity. The idea was to invite research teams, startups, and industry partners to design solutions to a highly complex problem, which is common to all mining industries. The winning team, Spectral industries, presented a novel online analytics system for more efficient mining operations.
